At McGraw Hill, we're passionate about learning. It's embedded in our DNA. Our learning solutions combine content you can trust, award-winning technology and superior support providing meaningful results.

We believe and the evidence has shown that teaching is best when it is focused on meeting the needs of the learner. The digital approach maximises learning by allowing access to a variety of content to fit different learning styles and pedagogies. We understand it takes a tremendous amount of time of the educator and librarian to create resources and prepare high quality teaching tools. So, we focus a lot of our development efforts on making sure our digital resources are flexible and will easily fit into any teaching and learning environment you might need.

Teaching is Best When Focused on Meeting the Needs of the Learner

We provide resources supporting distance learning, including our flagship platforms AccessEngineering, AccessMedicine and An@tomedia.

All of our Access platforms provide the opportunity for integrated implementation of distance learning, no matter where your students are:

• Assign Digital Reading
Instructors may assign chapter readings from each individual book via email and share links with students directing them to titles, chapters, or sections of a book.

• Facilitate Virtual Discussions & Provide Student Feedback promotes engaged reading as it encourages student feedback and group discussion. Students can annotate, add their own comments and questions, and highlight parts of the text remotely to share with others.

• Highlight Specific Content to Meet Student Needs
MyAccess folders can hold information and multimedia related to specific topics. Content can be targeted to meet student’s needs, demonstrating such strategies as targeted learning and prior knowledge.

• Flipped Classroom Approach & Virtual Class Discussions
Videos and animations may be shown as part of a flipped classroom approach in which students may view and then join a small group for analysis and debate, either in-person or online. Hundreds of interactive cases with comprehension questions help students think critically.

• Encourage Self-study
Access platforms offer review questions, along with explanatory answers. Self-assessment allows learners to assess their knowledge and identify topics requiring further study. Quiz results can be emailed directly to faculty from the platform.

• Anytime, Anywhere
Content is easily searchable and can be viewed, watched and listened to on any device. Students and faculty can log in while in the library, in class, on the go or at home.

Our mission at McGraw Hill is to unlock the potential for every learner but without constantly partnering with institutions we can’t get it right and we can’t improve.

Talk to us about your challenges and make use of our tools to help you meet those challenge. Email us with any questions or to request a trial of our platforms:
